It’s Wills Week! Solicitors across West Suffolk and Thetford are offering to write or update Wills in return for a donation to St Nicholas Hospice Care.This is instead of their usual fee.
Each of the participating law firms nominates one week of a month (usually June) to be their Wills Week. We’re delighted to say that Burnett Barker Solicitors is participating again, as we do every year.
However, whether you choose to make an appointment with us or one of the other firm’s taking part, we encourage you to take the opportunity to write or update your Will while also benefiting the Hospice.
There’s a full list of participating solicitors on the Hospice’s website. It’s a wonderful scheme as it raises around £40,000 in donations as a result of firms giving their time free of charge.

“We are extremely grateful for any donations received. We hope that some participants will also think about leaving a gift to the Hospice in their will after they have remembered their loved ones. The Hospice relies heavily on gifts in wills to help keeps its services running.”
