Our fixed fee consultations give you up to an hour with our specialist lawyers to discuss your legal question with them.
We cover a wide range of business, individual and family legal issues.
Why choose a Fixed Fee Consultation?
Unlike many legal firms who offer a ‘free’ 20 or 30-minute consultation, we think it is important that you are given enough time and attention to discuss your own, specific circumstances, rather than be given generic advice that could just as easily be obtained on the internet. That’s one of the reasons why we charge for these types of consultations.
In many cases, we offer an initial consultation at a fixed fee of £149. There are some instances where this may not be the case though. For example, a Will consultation is free of charge.
What if my legal query is more complex?
If your enquiry requires detailed and/or complex advice, we may, at our discretion, offer an initial consultation at a higher fixed fee. However, this will usually still be less than it would be to instruct us on our standard hourly-rate basis. We will, of course, always discuss and agree this with you before your consultation takes place.
Call us on 01284 701131 to discuss your fixed fee consultation options.

No strings attached & no hard sell
After hearing our advice, you may want to take further steps.
Of course, we’d be happy to continue helping you but you’re free to choose us or any other lawyer you wish.
If you do decide that you want us to help further, we’re able to do most types of follow up work for a fee agreed with you in advance.
If multiple steps / options exist, we can often do work up to a certain stage/step for a fixed fee.

When should you use a Probate Solicitor?
Deciding whether you need a probate solicitor largely depends on your individual circumstances. If, however, the deceased person owned a property in their sole […]
