Once again, we’re delighted to say that Burnett Barker Solicitors will be participating in The Cambridge Legal Walk organised by The Access to Justice Foundation.
Our fundraising team will walk 10k on Thursday 15th June 2023, setting off from Cambridge Backs along Queen’s Road at 5.30 pm and returning around 7.30 pm at Anglia Ruskin University.
As a sociable fundraiser, The Cambridge Legal Walk brings together legal professionals, law firms, students, and members of the community who support access to justice.
As one of around 30 legal walks organised by The Access to Justice Foundation nationwide, we’re proud to be doing our bit to help. The funds raised will be donated to charities providing free legal advice, representation and support to those who need it the most.
Why is the fundraiser important to us?
With Burnett Barker Solicitors being an official Supporter of the Foundation, this annual fundraiser is one that is close to our hearts. We know that access to justice contributes to ill health, poverty, homelessness, unemployment, relationship breakdowns and so much more.
Now, the need for access to justice is greater than ever. The Cambridge Legal Walk is an opportunity for the legal community to support the Foundation’s vision that ‘no one should be denied access to justice.’
