Wills & Probate

Death can be a conversation stopper. But like its bedfellows, 'life' and 'taxes' we still need to plan for it.

Make or renew a Will

Making a Will means you can leave as few problems as possible for those you leave behind.

Our Will service starts from as little as £300 including VAT for a standard single Will and £500 including VAT for joint Wills (where both partners make their Wills at the same time) - giving you peace of mind in case something should happen.

Arrange a free initial consultation with one of our specialist lawyers and we'll discuss your circumstances and what type of Will is suitable for you, before you decide whether or not to go ahead.

We have years of experience in drawing up Wills and keeping you informed about what is best for you and your family. Whether it is changes to Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax or changes in property prices – you need to know and make informed decisions about your Will.

Support for a Charity

If you currently support a charity that's close to your heart, did you know you can also continue supporting them once you are gone?

If  you wish to leave a gift or donation to a charity or an organisation in your Will, we can arrange this for you for no extra charge. Another one of the benefits of our fixed fee Wills service.

How we can help:

Writing Your Will

Inheritance Planning

Administration of Estates

Power of Attorney

Property trusts for unmarried couples

Protection of elderly client assets

Court of Protection matters

Trusts

Probate

Administering an estate can be a complex and time-consuming affair, especially to those unfamiliar with the process.

The process of proving that a deceased person’s Will is valid and then giving their Personal Representatives the right to deal with their assets and estate, is what's known as Probate.

Our specialist lawyers have the experience and expertise to ensure that all the complications following a death are dealt with - whether a Will exists or not.

We can help with all of the arrangements - such as Inheritance Tax, property sale, pensions, shares, bank accounts, unpaid bills, business interests or claims against the estate.

We offer the personal touch at what can be an emotional time and when it may feel that the number of questions outweigh the number of answers.

The importance of remembering a charity in your Will

By News Desk

This week (7th – 13th September 2015) is ‘Remember a Charity in Your Will Week’. 74% of the UK population supports charities and when asked almost half of those people say they would be happy to leave a charitable gift in their will once family and friends are provided for.
