Warmly welcoming Licensed Conveyancer Angela Dauny

Following on from the recent appointments of Paul Herbert and Priscilla Ivory, we’re pleased to be introducing Angela Dauny, a Licensed Conveyancer who has joined our residential conveyancing team.

Having recently moved to Suffolk from her home in the Midlands, Angela joins us after taking a career break to raise a family. Working Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays (9am-3pm), Angela will be working alongside Miranda, Rania and the rest of the team to advise on a range of conveyancing matters.

In a previous role, Angela worked closely alongside a wide variety of high profile property developers and has acquired extensive knowledge of conveyancing matters regarding new build properties. Angela will continue to build upon her expertise in these areas and will be actively building relationships with local property developers to allow us to further demonstrate our in-depth understanding and skill regarding new build conveyancing transactions.

Says Angela:

“What I enjoy most about my job is the satisfaction of making a client happy. Buying or selling a home can be a stressful time, so I see my role as trying to keep a sense of calm amongst the madness. Working with such a talented group of individuals is a real pleasure, and I’m really pleased to be a part of the Burnett Barker team.”

Daryl Griffiths, Chief Executive, Burnett Barker Solicitors adds:

“Angela is a fantastic addition to Burnett Barker. She has an incredible understanding of the intricacies involved in new build properties and we’re pleased to be working with her to develop this service further over the next 12 months.”

Making the most of flexible working

Angela is one of many Burnett Barker employees who have taken advantage of the firm’s family friendly working policies. The company thrives itself on its flexibility, and as a result has attracted a high calibre team who appreciate the dedication to implementing a positive work/life balance.

Daryl Griffiths says:

“It’s important to us that we work alongside our employees to find the right working balance for them. We are proud of our flexible working policy, which allows our team to be there for their families, whether it’s collecting the kids from school or looking after an elderly relative. Angela is a great example of this. She knew that she wanted a position which would allow her to continue her career whilst still raising her family and in return, we’ve attracted a highly skilled licensed conveyancer who is undoubtedly going to be a real asset to our team and to clients.

Angela agrees:

“It is definitely a plus that the company understands why I want to be able to be there for my children. The flexible working policy is brilliant, and really helps me to make the most of all aspects of my life. Not all companies take this approach, so it’s something that Burnett Barker should be commended for.”

When she’s not working, Angela likes to spend her spare time with her family and can often be found taking her twin boys on country walks. Angela is also a keen baker, and we’re keen to encourage her to bring in some of her tasty delights into the office!
