Since gaining my Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) at the University of Delhi in 2003, I have enjoyed a fast-paced life working in law. Before qualifying as a solicitor in England & Wales in 2009 and deciding on Residential Conveyancing as my preferred area of expertise, I held several research and advocacy positions on International Human Rights.
People often ask me why I made the jump from Human Rights to Residential Conveyancing and the reasons are rather simple. There’s a lot of pressure from all parties and I thrive on keeping transactions moving.
Buying or selling a home is comparable to getting married or welcoming a child. It is one of the biggest and most joyous life experiences. My role as a solicitor is to make the process as stress-free as possible.
I have a well-rounded experience of all property transactions, although my focus is on new build purchases, help-to-buy equity, and equity release on properties.
Aside from my passion for law, I love animals and I have a malamute and husky cross who is very much a part of the family. I am also fluent in Hindi and Punjabi.
In the office I am supported by:

I joined Burnett Barker in March 2019 with over 30 years' experience as a legal assistant. I enjoy making sure clients consistently receive a high-quality service.
Outside of work I like to spend time with my family and friends.
