Commercial Property Solicitor
There is nothing I enjoy more than resolving complicated property issues for my clients. For me, commercial property is as much about understanding an individual business as it is about the law.
How I can help:
Sales and purchases of Commercial Property
Leases of commercial premises
Acting for developers
Planning, infrastructure and utilities agreements
Land promotion agreements
Facility agreements with lenders
Mortgages, charges and debentures
Easements and rights
Joint venture and consortium arrangements
First registration of land

I have worked in commercial property law for over 30 years. Most of my career has been in the City of London where I advised clients on every aspect of commercial property law. I have supported landlords, tenants, investors, developers and their clients to overcome some particularly challenging planning, environmental and construction property issues.
Advising transport clients in aviation and rail as well as energy companies, you could say, has given me a thirst for the complex. There is nothing I love more than resolving complicated commercial property issues.
There are lots of things I am proud of in my career. I've been involved in a landmark case involving rent reviews and I am regularly invited as a guest lecturer to share my experience in resolving complex commercial property issues.
What really interests me the most though is that I get to work with people and their individual businesses on a daily basis.
For me, Burnett Barker Solicitors is a pretty special place to work. Not just because the people are fantastic but because Suffolk holds a place in my heart. My family are originally from Stowupland and so the move to Burnett Barker Solicitors was very much a homecoming.
