As an experienced Wills and Probate Solicitor and a full member of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), I always work to the highest standard, and with each client’s best interests at heart.

Everybody’s circumstances are different, so any advice I give will always be personal and tailored to you.

Whether you need help preparing a Will or Lasting Power of Attorney, or want to plan for Inheritance Tax, I will make things as simple and stress-free as possible.

I pride myself on my ability to deal with often delicate matters in a professional way. So whether you wish to discuss providing for a surviving partner while protecting the interests of your children, or would like to ensure your affairs are looked after if you lose the ability to do so yourself, please do get in touch.

I am proud of many things I have achieved in my legal career. However, I was particularly delighted to have earned the title of Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) as a full member of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, which validates my expertise and gives my clients a little extra reassurance.

Tracey Sheppard

Secretary to Henrietta Brett

Tracey’s role as Secretary to Wills & Probate Solicitor, Henrietta Brett, is the second position that she has held at Burnett Barker Solicitors. Previously, she provided secretarial support to our Head of Family Law, Joanne Matthews.

Following a 15-year break from the legal sector we welcomed Tracey back in June 2023. With her two children now teenagers and her oldest off to University in September, she has returned full-time to provide Henrietta with administrative support.

Before rejoining us, she worked as part of the school office team at her children’s former primary school, which was very busy and demanding but a role she thoroughly enjoyed. However, she has always wanted to return to work in the legal field and couldn’t wait to be a part of Burnett Barker Solicitors again.

Away from work, she loves spending time with her family and is on the Committee for the 1st Red Lodge Scout Group.  When the weather’s nice, she can also be found outside, doing a spot of gardening.
